The Cerebral Palsy Support Network (CPSN) is the Australian membership-based peak that represents individuals with cerebral palsy and their families.
CPSN began in 1995 as a monthly support group for parents whose children had been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Such a group was vital as parents sought support from other people who understood the issues and challenges they faced. To remain true to our purpose we continue to specialise solely in providing cerebral palsy specific information, resources, support and advice across all life transitions from birth through to ageing, to children and adults with cerebral palsy, and their families.
We recognise that each person with cerebral palsy is unique, so we take the time to understand individual needs and meet them appropriately. We work in partnership with our members to empower and enable them, and their networks, to maximise their choices and opportunities.
CPSN is highly adaptable and responsive to changing needs. As a not-for-profit, income from our services is directly invested back into the organisation to provide free of charge, mission-aligned services, as directed by our membership base.
