Become curious: explore, create, discover, emerge.
I like to think that the 'The Curious Place' is not so much a place as an invitation to a way of being: to get curious, connect, collaborate and emerge into new wholesome possibilities. So, I invite you to enter 'The Curious Place' where I will companion you to access and explore with compassion and understanding the human experience.
Based on current research in interpersonal neurobiology, trauma/stress physiology, and creative experiential inquiry, we will explore the multiple ways of knowing that humans experience as they come to know themselves in the world, to come to deeper understandings about experiences, behaviour and possibilities. We are collaborating together to understand more about being human and being with humans.
The methods for inquiring and learning are creative, experiential, somatic, collaborative, and multimodal; utilising, mindful awareness, open conversation, psychoeducation, and creative arts (possibly textiles, collage, painting/drawing, construction, symbol work, drama, dance/movement, media, music, play, creative writing, journaling etc.).
There is immense respect for the participants who are held to be the experts in their own life. The facilitator is viewed as a guiding companion and co-inquirer to support the client in their pursuit of meaningful wellbeing in life.
