Empowering members for more than twenty eight years in the Territory, Total Recreation follow a pathway to genuine social inclusion. The programs available allow members to participate in the activities of their choice that best suit their needs and desired outcomes.

Total Recreation staff are primarily trained in sport and program delivery focusing on active “support” rather than “care”. Members determine activities and programs, they set their own goals and they're supported to achieve their desired outcomes. Total Recreation provide weekly sporting sessions to over 320 students with disabilities each year including AFL, soccer, basketball, athletics, cricket and swimming just to name a few and also support adults to play basketball, lawn bowls, tenpin bowling and AFL.

People with disabilities have the highest rate of sedentary lifestyle of any cohort in Australia. Total Recreation provide a range of fitness sessions to both youth and adults to support them to get active and improvement their health outlook.

Total Recreation can also support members to travel across the Northern Territory, around Australia and overseas to experience a huge range or activities and events.
