While it’s common for NDIS participants to be working, we also hear from many of you that one of your goals under the NDIS is to get job-ready and to find a job that you enjoy.
Here at Leap in! HQ, we can help you get the most out of your NDIS Plan. We offer free advice on how to develop your goals and can connect you with the right supports to help you prepare, find and maintain the job that’s right for you.
How does the NDIS support people with disabilities looking for a job?
Did you know that the NDIS can fund job-related support like:
- Building skills and capacity to find and maintain a job
- Personal care or assistance with transport where you need it to work
- Assistive technology devices such as wheelchairs, personal communication devices or a hearing aid to help you in the workplace
- Supported employment, such as services offered by a range of Australian Disability Enterprises
Also some additional supports can be funded by disability employers and disability employment services.
