Plan management is one of the choices for managing your NDIS Plan. When you attend your NDIS plan or plan reassessment meeting, you get to choose from plan management, self managing or have the NDIA agency manage your plan.
It all depends on how much time you want to spend and how comfortable you are managing the financial aspects of your plan.
Plan management offers the flexibility to use registered and unregistered providers. You also get choice and control over managing your budgets but with the support of a plan manager who pays provider invoices on your behalf and can answer all your questions.
