IPS Group provides a range of public safety services.

We have developed a family emergency planning capacity building education and skill based program specifically designed for those living with a disability.

Family emergency preparedness planning is critical to the disability sector, as seen by the impacts which COVID-19 has had on services and support provided to those living with a disability. Disasters have no boundaries, no timescale or regard for human life. They are occurring more frequently, with some areas experiencing multiple disasters in quick succession, testing the resilience of the individuals and communities affected.

We have designed and developed a Family Emergency Preparedness Plan specifically for those living with a disability which can be filled out with you in your home, over the phone or by video with you or remotely by yourself.

Our plan provides you with skills which enable you to understand the importance of emergency preparedness and the confidence to feel in control should an emergency affect you.
