Leap in! “frees my life from the burden of administration,” says Lindsay.

Travel blogger, disability advocate and
podcaster Lindsay Nott has a taste for adventure and a passion for sharing tips on navigating life with a disability.

A wheelchair user who has a spinal cord injury from an accident many years ago, the Brisbane resident is a strong believer in finding the right people to work with so that he can get on with living his life.

When it came time to implement his NDIS Plan, Lindsay and his support coordinator chose Leap in! because they wanted to work with an organisation that specialised in plan management and could answer all their questions.

“I wanted an independent body, that was separate from me and people who could offer a fresh set of eyes. Leap in! specialises in plan management and that’s why they do it so well. They give me great advice and just the right amount of support.”

Staying up-to-date with the NDIS.

Lindsay says he likes to stay up-to-date with changes to the NDIS and how they could impact his plan.

“Leap in! provides regular email updates and information about what you can do with the money in each NDIS category. They break it down and explain it in a way that I can understand. If I ever have any questions, I can call or email and the responses are really quick.”

Budget Health Checks keep spending on track.

He also finds the Leap in! monthly Budget Health Check emails really useful.

“Every month, Leap in! emails me a check-up on my plan, showing how my budgets are travelling, what I’ve spent and where I still have funds to use.”

“When I’ve underspent, I can see it on the health check and can call Leap in! for advice on what to do to utilise my plan better. This information makes me more proficient in understanding what the NDIS can do for me. I think I’m using my plan better as a result.”

Someone to take care of the paperwork.

Lindsay recommends having a plan manager to help navigate the NDIS and take care of all the paperwork.

“Having Leap in! as my plan manager takes the worry out of paying invoices, which allows me to focus on my life and do what I need to do. The NDIS is helping me live my life. Having Leap in! there allows that to happen.”

“I’m not an accountant and don’t want to learn bookkeeping skills. Leap in! pays my bills and does all the NDIS-related accounting for me. It frees my life from the burden of administration.”

“Don’t be afraid to give Leap in! a call, ask questions and get advice. We have to make the most of our lives, utilise our NDIS Plans fully and connect with all the different services out there. Being with Leap in! means there’s always someone you can talk to help you make that happen.”
