Holy Cross Services Ltd. was founded in 1889 by the Sisters of Mercy. Previously known as Holy Cross Laundry Ltd. our organisation has expanded and now comprises of three businesses, Holy Cross Laundry (est. 1889), Holy Cross Cleaning (est. 2018), and Food Services (est. 2019). We are a profit for purpose organisation and provide supported and inclusive employment through the delivery of integrated services.
Our Mission is to support people with disability and the disadvantaged by providing employment and training opportunities in line with our core values of Dignity, Respect, Integrity and Compassion. We are one of the country's leading examples of a fully integrated workplace something of which we are incredibly proud.
We are a registered NDIS service provider and employment services we offer included; supported employment (NDIS participants) , open employment (SWS) and school work experience opportunities for students from local special schools. We also work with disability service providers and training organisations to provide work experience for adults, and we are a host employer for the work for the dole program.
We currently employ approximately 340 employees; 44 of who are people with disability who receive on the job training and support tailored to their individual goals and needs which enables them to achieve their personal growth and development. Our Employment Services Team has in excess of 115 years of experience between them working in the disability sector and are committed to providing a safe, encouraging and motivational work place for our staff.
