Informed Western Care Services support participants in eliminating barriers to inclusion by increasing access to opportunities and independence for persons with disabilities and mental health issues. Informed Western Care Services is guided by the principles of choice and control for participants. 

Services include: 

Assistance in Performing Personal Activities - IWCS will assist you with and or supervise personal tasks of daily life to develop skills and enable you to live as autonomously as possible. 

Assistance in Life Stage Transition - Similar to other NDIS services, the goals of this specialty care include improving daily living skills, enhancing living arrangement, increasing social and community participation, and providing coordinated support to participants. 

Assistance with Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations - IWCS will guide, prompt, or undertake activities to ensure the participant obtains or retains appropriate accommodation. 

Group Centre Based Activities - IWCS provides support and opportunities to participants that enable them to engage in community, social, and recreational activities in a centre as part of a group activity.

Accommodation and Tenancy - IWCS offer short-term accommodation for one night stays or for longer holiday periods. Short-term accommodation may be used for up to 14 consecutive days.

Community Activity Participation - IWCS’s aim is to promote the inclusion of participants to expand their opportunities for community participation and employment. IWCS offers support and assistance to attend movies, shopping, bowling and other recreational activities.

Daily Task Shared Living - IWCS can provide support for participants to complete daily living.
