Adult Rehabilitation.

JRTS assist clients restore or adjust to their new level of function. Intervention entails a client-centered evaluation, interdisciplinary collaboration, goal setting, and modifying tasks and environments to facilitate participation.

Mental Health.

JRTS promote wellbeing by supporting clients to engage in meaningful occupations. Intervention entails client-centred evaluation, goal setting, education, and graded exposure.

Paediatrics.

JRTS work alongside children and their support networks to promote participation and independence in daily occupations. Intervention entails client-centered evaluation, developmental assessment, goal setting, provision of a therapeutic program, and education.

We also deliver therapy under the ECIA framework model; and are registered as Early Intervention Providers.

Sensory Integration.

Many individuals struggle with their ability to process the sensory environment. JRTS acknowledges the impact this has upon engagement in occupations and subsequent skill development. Intervention entails a sensory profile assessment, behavioural intervention, liaison with support networks, management strategies, and sensory activities.

Behaviour Support.

JRTS specialises in behaviour support. Behavioural support is a form of least restrictive practice and is recommended when an individual exhibits behaviour/s that are threatening to themselves and others. Intervention entails client-centred evaluation, assessment of behaviour/s of concern, sensory profile assessment, liaison with support networks, and management strategies.

Equipment.

JRTS has a wealth of knowledge to advise and prescribe appropriate adaptive equipment. This service assists individuals of all ages to manage everyday tasks in their home, school, and/or workplace. Intervention entails client-centered evaluation, goal setting, equipment trials, and education upon delivery.
