Our independent Support Coordinators help our customers navigate through the NDIS. We design a flexible plan to meet each customer’s requirements, so they can get the help they need, both from Multicap and other providers.
Our Specialised Behaviour Support Service uses positive behaviour support (PBS) practices.
Our self-advocacy program includes training and technology to empower our customers to communicate their needs; building their confidence to advocate for themselves.
Our network of Community Hubs helps our customers integrate into their local community. The Hubs offer an inclusive environment, and the opportunity for growth, learning and new friendships. Multicap offers a program of music therapy, to help improve or maintain our customers’ levels of communication, their gross and fine motor skills, and social skills—it’s also lots of fun!
Multicap also provides fully accessible housing. We maintain a number of Supported Independent Living places across Queensland and Northern New South Wales, as well as short-term accommodation to suit a variety of needs.
Our Supported Employment service assists our customers to find meaningful ongoing training and employment opportunities; e.g. Laundretto (our Laundry Lounge), Monte Lupo Art Studio and café, and Makeables, where staff assemble, package and finish products for business clients. Avegates, our innovative social experience network, enables customers to join an exciting social club or sports group, take a holiday or attend an event with friends.
