Special Olympics Australia - Leap in!

Special Olympics Australia

Special Olympics is a year-round multi-sports program for people with an intellectual disability – of all capabilities. Special Olympics Australia is part of a global inclusion movement using sport, health, education and leadership programs every day to end discrimination against and empower people with intellectual disabilities

We provide accessible sporting opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities on a week-in, week-out basis along with training, coaching and competition opportunities in local communities throughout Australia.

Since 1968 the Special Olympics movement has grown to more than 5 million athletes and Unified partners in more than 170 countries. Special Olympics Australia began in 1976.
