An important update on the Refer a friend competition.

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission has requested that Leap in! close down the ‘Refer a friend’ competition as they believe it is in breach of legislation.

While we’re disappointed with the Commission’s view, we need to respect their decision as the NDIS regulatory authority.

Our intention with the ‘Refer a friend’ competition was to give people with disability, their friends and family, a chance to win a year’s worth of groceries – a prize that will be very welcome at a time when the cost of living is being felt so acutely across the country.

As we are no longer able to complete the competition we will instead donate the prize money to the UnitingCare Queensland and Uniting NSW Christmas Appeals. Many Australians are doing it tough, particularly at this time of year, and we are keen to do what we can to make things a little easier over the Christmas period.
